About Me:

I was born and raised in Lincoln, coming from a family of six kids and over 100 cousins. My older siblings and I all attended St. Peter's during grade school and graduated from Pius X High School. There I played soccer and basketball all four years, as well as tennis for two years and football for one. I graduated from Doane University in 2022, where I was a 4 year soccer starter and headed a local fraternity. I have been the head coach for a boys soccer team for since 2023 (The Scrappers). I am currently attending UNL in pursuit of my Master's in Agronomy and will be done in the fall of 2027.

Why Jr Bolts?

Why Jr Bolts?

I have always been passionate about the impact we all can make to the world around us. As an older brother and uncle, many times over, I realize the importance of providing the youth with tools to succeed in life. Therefore, I loved the idea of having a community where we can help build leaders of tomorrow that are strong in their faith and morals. I hope this club does just that, while instilling a strong education and love of soccer into the players and families.

Why Jr Bolts?

I previously coached my oldest daughter’s soccer team and currently coach my son’s U11 team. I’m excited to bring my organizational skills, community connections, and perspective as both a parent and coach to the Jr. Bolts Board while helping build a strong soccer community connected to Pius X.

I hope the club provides a positive and welcoming club community where players can develop their skills, build confidence, form lasting friendships, and grow both on and off the field. I would love for families to feel connected and supported while giving players the opportunity to compete, have fun, and continue building relationships with other future Pius X students.

About Me:

I’m married to Zach Peed (2010 Pius grad) and together we have four children, Miles, Owen, Stella, and Rylee who all attend St. Joseph where we are also parishioners. Our oldest son has been playing soccer since 1st grade and through his passion and dedication has made me grow and love the sport! While I mostly spend my days at home with my kids I love to volunteer and give back to our school as much as I can from substitute teaching, organizing class parties, and volunteering for field trips, being in the classroom environment brings me so much joy.

Why Jr Bolts?

Having my oldest son play soccer gave me the push to become more involved in our community and share my talents with others. I believe in the mission the Jr. Bolts community is trying to achieve and can’t wait to be a part of it! I hope families and players can build a connection with their future classmates while also fostering a deeper connection with their faith in the process. I am excited for others to experience a positive and welcoming community for all players, coaches and families; as we have already experienced with my son and his team.

Why Jr Bolts?

I love the game of soccer because it may give the most life lessons of any sport. All of my kids have gone through Pius X, with another on his way there. I have always loved making a positive impact on the youth through athletics. I love the idea of Christ centered coaching, allowing every player to be the best they can be while developing self confidence and Christian leadership for the rest of their lives.

Why Jr Bolts?

Why Jr Bolts?

I joined Jr Bolts to help grow the sport of soccer within our Catholic community. I also love the idea that boys and girls from all the different Catholic schools across Lincoln will get the opportunity to meet and grow relationships before moving to Pius X. My hope with Jr Bolts Soccer Club is that we can provide a space for families and players from all across Lincoln to come together and grow their love of soccer. I also hope it provides the children the opportunity to develop, soccer skills, relationships and a deeper connection to their faith.
